Nigerian tv host Morayo Afolabi-Brown has cautioned married women to be guided in their marriages. She encouraged women to have a long-term exit plan in their marriages. Just in case their husbands start misbehaving in future.
Morayo advised in a post shared on her Instastory on Friday.
She wrote, “This thing called marriage? Some women need a long-term exit plan. You’ve got to know when to move. no man is worth a high bp… it’s not easy, but it’s possible.”
In 2018, Morayo Afolabi-Brown went viral for saying she would never trust her husband enough to bathe their daughter because fathers are molesting daughters.
She said this during a live discussion on Rape on the radio alongside other colleagues. Later she tearfully apologized via the same medium.
“The last 24 hours have been tougher than I expected. My sincere apologies to my husband. I love, trust and respect you! It was an error, and I’m really sorry! It was not my intention. I love, Trust and respect you. You do not deserve all the horrible things people have said about you,” she pleaded.
