BET Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has explained why he doesn’t want to own properties in Ghana.
According to Sarkodie, Accra is too boisterous for him. He added that he has always loved the ‘countryside” of town because it’s cool and peaceful.
Sarkodie reiterated that Axim and Aburi were his preferred places when he eventually wants to own properties and live in a serene environment.

“For some reason, I do want to have properties in Accra. I prefer Axim and places around Aburi. I like the environment and everything and I like a land that has not been cleared yet.”
Meanwhile, Sarkodie has justified the reason why he endorsed Nana Akufo Addo whose administration has been largely fraught with incompetencies.

In his song Happy Day with Kuame Eugene, Sarkodie claimed that the government’s free senior high school (SHS) policy had directly helped him.
The rapper claimed that he only backed causes for which he has personally benefited, therefore he backed the Nana Toaso lyrics of his Happy Day song releases during the 2020 elections.
