The situation in Ghana as pertaining to its high cost of living and other conditions bothering the country has become a mess in the eyes of the average Ghanaian. These days, people are even fed up with the actions and inactions of the current ruling government, NPP led Nana Akufo Addo. Not that I am saying this, but rather, that is generally the case. The increased in prices of goods and services is very absurd especially within the last three months. Many people are therefore angry thus taking it to various social media platforms expressing how they think the Nana Addo led administration has failed them.
Others too have taken the situation to the streets expressing it on boards how aggrieved they are. Most people are thus asking the Government to just comply and accept the situation is out of their hands and thus, open the forum for others too to try. Today, allow me to present to you the most asked questions and what the average Ghanaian are now seeking the Government to do as I have been observing. Firstly, resignation, sacking or impeachment of the minister of finance. For quite some time, the main title of various conversations whether face to face, TV shows or radio each of these dialogues are based on the removal of the Finance minister Ken Oforu Attah. Most people see this man to be incompetent and thus, disqualified to hold the position of the Government. Even though the man proved to be working hard within the first four years in office, Ghanaians now seemed to be unhappy with his works. With this, several appeal has been directed to the President but still Ken Ofori Attah is still in office as the Finance minister.
Secondly, resignation of President Nana Addo himself. This is very prevalent in these times even as I write this article. Just this morning abled men and women are marching in the streets of Accra protesting for thw removal of the President Nana Addo from power. Some think this will help protect the democratic environment of the state thus preventing military intervention. They think the President is under performing and therefore, should make way for a new leader. The current demonstration is not the first, we have witnessed numerous of its kind since the NPP came into power.
