A mother of four children named Helena, a resident of Abofuor described how her husband slept with another woman and impregnate her after he travelled to work. According to the lady she was a virgin before she met her husband, Kwadwo Aseidu. She was also learning hairstyling whilst her husband was a maison at that time.
Helena said they dated for a while before she got pregnant with the man, he didn’t leave her but accepted her pregnancy and even went to perform their marriage ceremony. Kwadwo acquired land and a farm on it. Helena added that the money they earned from selling the farm products was not sufficient to feed the whole family. The man then decide to go to Pekyi to work and support them.
They were not having money for transport so she took out a loan for him before his trip.Three months later, she found out she was pregnant with her husband, but didn’t hear anything from Aseidu for several months. Helena said she was also unable to work and feed herself and her two children because of the pregnancy. One day, one of the workers came from her husband’s place of work and told her that Aseidu’s boss, had invited her.
She took a loan again and went to that place hoping to meet her husband again. To her surprise, she found out that her husband was having an affair with another woman and she was even pregnant for him. She cried all day but couldn’t do anything about what happened, Aseidu then gave her Ghc500 to feed her children and provide their basic needs.
When she returned home, her in-laws also came to apologize on Aseidu’s behalf. She accepted the apology before he came to visit them for three days. The lady claims she tried to call her husband after he left for work, but the call was disconnected. Helena gave birth to her fourth child, but her husband did not come to visit or send her money.
It was her mother-in-law who supported her financially until the child was four months old. His family members went to that place and brought Aseidu back to his hometown, but he went returned to Pekyi without visiting them up to date. Helena stated that she has been catering for the children all this years but she can’t continue again so she wants Aseidu to begin performing his responsibilities.
