John Abdulai Jinapor, a Member of Parliament representing the Yapei-Kusawgu constituency has described President Akufo-Addo’s address to the nation as the most uninspiring, boring and monotonous speech ever.
According to the NDC member of Parliament, there is nothing new, nothing inspiring and certainly no hope.
On Sunday, 30th October 2022, President Akufo-Addo addressed Ghanaians in a prerecorded speech. The President admitted that, Ghana is in crisis but he is putting measures to help Ghanaians. He also said that, much speculation of the depreciating cedi, is actually doing more harm to the cedi because money doesn’t like noise.
The President also said that new laws will be enacted to force companies to keep their monies in cedis with Bank of Ghana.
