Motion sickness normal occurs when you are in a moving objects(car, train), this causes a sudden movement on the body.
Motion sickness is caused by a malfunction of the vestibular apparatus responsible fo keeping us firmly on our feet.
It reacts to changes in the position of the head and the body in space as well as to acceleration. This changes the position of the individual and in severe cases it may cause fear and panic as it’s a sudden action.
When a person’s body moves and sways in a car or on a boat, the brain receives conflicting information from the different senses(brain, spinal cord) which causes nausea, dizziness and headache.
So these are the reasons why motion sickness normally occurs.
