Hon. Muntaka Must Apologise To Suame Magazine Workers

Hon. Mubarak Muntaka has attacked Hon. Kyei Mensah again on his recent comments about the Speaker of Parliament. In Muntaka’s view, Hon. Kyei Mensah was busy selling spare parts at Suame Magazine when Mr. Bagbin now Speaker of Parliament was studying law.

Now, I don’t have a problem when a colleague is defending the other but my problem is the insult. Muntaka is a member of Parliament and there are many children who look up to him as a their mentor. So if come out and say such things then what are you teaching those children. Secondly, I think Hon. Muntaka should have used the opportunity given to him to educate his colleague even though they are from different parties.

The most painful thing about his speech is using some peoples work as a means to insult his colleague. But how can a whole member of Parliament come to that when the speaker of Parliament were busy studying law his his compatriot was selling spare parts at magazine. We are all humans and we make mistakes. So now your father who works as a farmer cannot advice you again because you now a doctor, a lawyer, nurse, etc right.

It’s too bad to say things like this publicly. Mr. Honorable come out and apologise to suame magazine workers. You are in Parliament today because of some of them and to disrespect them like this it’s not cool.

Please let’s stop being members of political parties and be ghanaians for once. Nobody can change our fortunes unless we change our mentality. Let’s pray for peace and prosperity not insult and unnecessary arguments.
