Former Ghana International, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, believes the euphoria surrounding the FIFA World Cup should be experienced by every footballer in their lifetime.
Agyemang-Badu, reminiscing on his World Cup in Brazil 2014, fondly spoke on memories and general feelings enroute to his maiden appearance.
“It feels very great as a footballer. Is every footballers dream to go and witness this kind of tournament”.
“This is the world’s highest stage in football and every player wants to be there, every player needs to be there”.
“To witness what goes on and to play with these wonderful players. A lot goes on”.
“You are playing at your club and you are thinking about your nation, what will happen, the group you are in and how you can sail through the group”.
“And how you can avoid yourself from injury. It feels so good when the time is getting closer”.
