The deputy majority chief whip of parliament and the member of parliament for Tolon Constituency, Habib Iddrisu has said that the absence of the member of parliament for Dome Kwabenya constituency, Sarah Adwoa Sarfo has made things very difficult for them as whips.
According to the majority chief whip, the equal number of representatives of parliament make the implementation of policies difficult. He said this came about with the sheer absenteeism of the former minister of , children and social protection.
He said the party was lucky to have the independent candidate on their side giving them a one person advantage over the National Democratic Congress but whatever happened, Adwoa Sarfo absenting herself from parliament, has made things very difficult for them.
Speaking today on TV3 newday with Johnny Hudges, Habib Iddrisu disclosed that the whips did their best trying to reach out to Sarah Adwoa Sarfo and bring her back, but all efforts proved futile.
