Avram Moshie has kicked against the decision of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to pray and fast for the national team ahead of the match in Qatar.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced the National Day of fasting for the National team ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

According to Avram Moshie, the GFA should come to an understanding that Ghana does not have a strong team anymore and desist from giving Ghanaians false hope. He added that the current team available are not strong enough to play at the Cup of Nations.
“I will never join this fasting and prayer thing for the Black Stars because all the other countries will be praying and God will honour the one who is capable and has prepared well for the World Cup,” Avram Ben Moshie said on Accra-based Angel TV.
