A Political Lecturer at the University of Ghana, Professor Ransford Gyampo has advised the NPP government to swallow their pride and bring Mark Assibey Yeboah and Seth Terkpeh to help in the economic crisis facing the country.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Saturday, 22nd October 2022, he wrote that;
“The vicissitude of the time transcends the shallow skills of investment banking. Let all pride be swallowed and let Mark Assibey Yeboah be brought on board. Seth Terkpeh can also be consulted. These are some optics that boost confidence.”
Prof believe that Mark Assibey Yeboah, the MP for New Juaben South Constituency in the Eastern Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party can help save the sinking economy. He also believe that Seth Terkpeh, former Finance Minister during John Mahama’s regime can also be of help.
Prof Gyampo also asked why the President stopped his periodic engagements with CSOs and the Media. He believe that it was a proactive initiative that could have been helpful in this crisis period. CSO and media critique of the regime shouldn’t have guillotined this novelty.
