Travelled to Goodison Park earlier today in a highly spirited form but did not see light at the end of the whistle as Everton smacked thrice to break their unbeaten record in three games.
Crystal Palace in such a disappointing outcome had two named Ghanaian players featured – Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp.
Ayew earned Patrick Vieira’s starting lineup – made quite an effort before was substituted in the 75th minute for Malcolm Ebiowei.
The 31-year-old forward during his playing minutes – sighted 31 touches, two key passes, eight won duels, four received fouls, four tackles, 77% pass accuracy and a rating of 6.9 according to sofascore which was not enough as they recorded their 4th loss of the season.
Schlupp, on the other hand, made progress from the bench in the 63rd minute as his side were already down by a goal [Dominic Calvert-Lewin].
However, his presence was nothing to write home about as the Toffees doubled up courtesies of Antony Gordon and Dwight Mcneil, making 3-0 – their second biggest loss this season after Manchester City’s 4-2.
The Glaziers after today are still in the 12th position with 13 points, 4 in a gap from relegation.
