“Nobody Can Stop me From Working For Hearts of Oak” – Former NPP MP

Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Vincent Sowah Odotei says nobody can stop him from working for the club unless the Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV.

Vincent Sowah Odotei came under sharp criticism following the club’s exit from the CAF Confederation Cup after losing 3-1 on aggregate score line over two legs.

The first leg ended 3-0 against Malian club, AS Real Bamako with the second leg ending 1-0 for the Phobians but they could not qualify for the next stage of the competition.

The former Member of Parliament under the New Patriotic Party says he will only resign if Togbe Afede XIV decrees.

“No, I will not resign as board member unless Togbe Afede says I should resign from the board of Accra Hearts of Oak,” Sowah Odotei said in an interview with Original FM.

“We’re very disappointed for not qualifying from the CAF Confederations Cup preliminary stage. We’ll prepare very well for the league and move forward,” he added.
