Assistant Coach of BetPawa League side Nsoatreman, Boniface Ayipah, believes the suspension of the premier league will definitely affect performance of the Black Meteors team.
Coach Ayipah, stated that the qualifiers for U-23 AFCON enroute to Morocco will be a fierce competition for the Ghanaian team.
“Infact, it has affected our players, not even in the Black Stars but even our U-23”.
“I understand they are preparing for a game.
Because of the inaction of the players in the league, definitely, I am very sure it will affect their performance in a way”.
Ghana is paired with Mozambique and winner for two games will qualify for U-23 championship Morocco.
The Ghana Premier League was suspended due a court injunction by AshantiGold who have been demoted to the national Division One League.
The Ghana Football Association has been forced to halt the league due to the court injunction by the club.
