Massive reactions as Ghanaian controversial journalist Godsbrain Smart, has been reportedly arrested by the Ghana national security.
Godsbrain Smart, who is popularly known as Captain Smart is a Ghanaian professional journalist who works at OnuaTV station. He is one of the few journalists who is always trying very hard to put the leaders of the country, Ghana on their toes. He is a controversial journalist and does not support any government that comes into power. When the government in power is performing very well, he praises them, and also when the government is not trying very hard to meet the needs of the people, he talks about it in order to make the ruling government to do the needful for the people of the country.
Acccording to a recent news that is making massive trends on social media platforms, it reveals that Captain Smart has been arrested for pointing fingers at the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo for being part of the leaders who indulge themselves in illegal mining activities, popularly known as galamsey in the country, Ghana.
After this news had gone viral on social media platforms, many Ghanaians could not keep mute over the fact that Captain Smart has been apprehended for his good work that he is doing for the people of Ghana. Many of them also thought that, he should not have been arrested because he has done nothing wrong, for he was only expressing himself.
Others also said that, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo should let Captain Smart go because, the time that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government was in power, Captain Smart was fighting for the current ruling government yet he was not arrested like they have done today.
Essel Appiah who is one of the social media users wrote that, Captain Smart should not mind the ruling government because, no amount of intimidation will ever stop the truth, and if they dare victimize you, they have touched the eye of God.
