Nkorsuohene Gifts’ St.Peter’s An Ultra Modern Smart Lab | Social

The Founder of Kabaka Foundation also the development chief of Kwahu Nkwatia , Nana Owuredu Wadie (I) has commissioned and Unveiled an ultra modern Smart Lab and E- Library at ST. Peter’s Senior High School at Kwahu in the Eastern region.

The Kabaka Foundation is a charity organization known to have embarked on many charity outreach to schools , hospitals and the vulnerable in the society as the core and vision of the foundation.

Mr. Henry Larbi , the Executive Director of Kabaka Foundation spoke on behalf of Nana Owuredu Wadie and said “it is inline with Nana Owuredu Wadie development agenda through the Kabaka Foundation , he is basically bringing development to Kwahu Nkwatia and he being assigned as the board chairman of ST. Peter’s Senior High School, he was asked to help provide a smart lab for the school and he took it upon himself and accepted that he will do it and as we sit here today he has been able to commissioned one smart lab and one e- library , the total cost of that is 52,000 dollars just for the provision of the ICT equipment and also the human resources training for the teachers who are going to use the project”.

“However for the cost of the civil work that has been done so far provision of furniture, air-condition and everything , it amount to around Ghc 200,000 just to set the place up, we are now in the industrial revolution whereby there is a new way to use artificial intelligence and to use robotics in solving problem in developing countries and economies so these students are going to have access to these artificial intelligence, robotics and any other things that they will need for the future because now we don’t only need just a public servant to just sit down but students need to be innovative so this is the best opportunity for them to be innovative” he said.

Mr. Henry Larbi further admonished that , the Kabaka Foundation led by Nana Owuredu Wadie (I) is not relenting on only the smart lab and the e-library at ST. Peter’s Senior High School but the foundation aims at mobilizing resources to assist the school with the construction of an assembly hall in the days ahead.

The unveiling of the smart lab and the e- library coincided with the 65th anniversary of ST. Peter’s Senior High School this year , the theme chosen for the anniversary is “Education 4.0 An Imperative For Industry 4.0 And The Future Work “.

Meanwhile, in a speech delivered by Nana Owuredu Wadie (I) as the guest of honour for the 65th Anniversary of ST. Peter’s Senior High School he said “ST. Peter’s SHS as a legacy, one that we have gathered here today to celebrate , let us all act in the glory of all that we have achieved so far and deliberate on ways to position ourselves to continue to build a great pedestal we currently hold in the coming years, the world is changing faster than we realized and education is at the forefront of our country therefore we need to prepare the next generation to fit into this technological world, so I will implore all of us to contribute our quota to support the education of our children”

The Unveiling of the plaque by Nana Owuredu Wadie (I) was accompanied by Nana Ofori Mireku (I) who represented Kwahu Manhene, Nana Boamah Ayirepa (III) Kwahu Nkwatiahene, Nana Kwaku Boateng (III) New Juaben Manhene , Koforidua Catholic Bishop , the headmaster of ST. Peter’s SHS and many other personalities.
