How Many Hours Of Sleep Does A Person Need?

The human body is no tool nor machine that can work tirelessly without feeling fatigue. Even machines can’t be used continuously without repairing certain parts, and sometimes they experience faults. That is no different from the human body. There more you use up your resources, the faster they get depleted. And the more you use up the body’s energy, you run out much quicker and eventually feel fatigue.

To put it short, the body needs to be well rested in other to gain energy. Sometimes though, we might sleep for many hours yet we still feel fatigue. The reason may be because, the number of hours one spends sleeping might not be enough or is inadequate.

Naturally, a person can sleep for as long as he desires. Take note that the younger a person may be, the more sleep needed. For children, it is advisable to sleep for more than 10 hours. And as you grow older, the required rest period should be roughly 7 to 8 hours. Anything less is considered inadequate.
