Shatta Wale has ascribed a reason to Black Sherif’s high-lying career when he appeared on the popular Good Evening show hosted by veteran journalist Paul Adom Otchere on Metro TV.
In his estimation, the youngster is signed onto a record label which facilitates his promotion and brand positioning.
The boss of the SM fanbase said he did everything on his own as a musician and was able to sustain his brand in a manner that elevated his career single-handledly.
He mentioned that his colleagues Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy equally built the music legacy all by themselves but Black Sherif is being pushed all the way top by Empire.

When questioned why he isn’t signed to a record company, Shatta Wale responded that while labels are interested in signing him, he decided against it because the agreement might not be ideal for him.
