Recently, Mr. Bonzoh was detained for hindering a police investigation into two missing excavators.
He is currently out on bail and denying these allegations in court.
The DCE added that he didn’t want the issue to divert attention from the effort to stop unlawful mining.
“Let’s not divert our focus from the battle. If we are not careful, we risk abandoning the altercation that resulted in this arrest in our endeavor to question the arrest and the events leading up to the arrest.
