Host of Good Evening Ghana show on Metro TV, Paul Adom Otchere has reacted to the recent rejection of Kennedy Agyapong’s gifts that were presented to the Togbe Afede during the Yam festival.
According to Paul Adom Otchere, the person who wrote the letter, inviting Kennedy Agyapong to the festival should be sacked and also be sued for defamation. He explained and revealed that Stephen Tetteh, secretary of the Asogli State Council invited Kennedy Agyapong without the authority or approval of Togbe Afede.
Aside this, Stephen Tetteh quoted the words of Kennedy Agyapong in the letter which bears the letterhead of the Asogli state. For this reason, Paul Adom Otchere believes that the secretary should be sued for defamation. This is because, the words which most people believe to be insulting or derogatory against their chief were used in the letter of the Asogli State.
For this reason, Paul Adom Otchere is urging Togbe Afede to sue his secretary for defamation and also fire him.
“This is your letterhead, ‘Asogli State Council’. And in your letterhead, you are repeating derogatory remarks made about your king. I was totally shocked. It should never appear. You could have just said that he made a derogatory remarks about Togbe Afede so we will not accept his gift“
“Mr. Stephen Tetteh must get his arts together. How can you be derogatory to your own chief. Togbe Afede, you should sack him. Dismiss this guy. He doesn’t understand his work. Sue him for defamation” he said.
