The controversial journalist of Adom tv show “Fire for Fire”, has descended heavily on the Ghana Football Associations (GFA) and the current coach of the Ghana national team, Black Stars.
According to Countryman Songo, the Ghanaian professional footballers who have been selected by coach Otoo Addo to play for the Qatar 2022 world cup friendly matches, are not worthy enough to take Ghana to the quarter final of the world cup tournament yet to be played in Qatar.
Good, experience, quality, skillful and goals scoring players have been ignored for inexperienced and unqualified players. Why? It is because, the Ghana Football Associations are the ones making decisions for coach Otoo Addo. They bring in their own players that they are managing so that they will get good market. They do this because, they think that when those unqualified players that they are managing are seen playing in the Ghana Black Stars team, then they will definitely get a good buyer and become profitable because they are their managers.
Otoo Addo should not have added players that are now being tested to see whether their performances are ok. Instead, he should have gone in for those quality players that are making great impact and scoring goals in the world of football.
This football association of Ghana are only using Ghana Black Stars for their own selfish interest and gain. They do not want anything good for Ghana, because if they do they will not have chosen a players scout, Otoo Addo to manage Black Stars.
Ghanaian journalist are talking because you cannot be using tax payers money anyhow without providing what the people want for them. We want Black Stars to win trophies and not being unable to reach round of 16, no they should go behind that and make us proud, Countryman Songo added.
