Ghana champions Asante Kotoko will host their Burkinabe counterparts Rail Club de Kadiogo on Sunday in the return leg preliminary round qualifier in Kumasi.
The game will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium where the Porcupines will look to advance to the next stage of the competition.
Asante Kotoko, holds a 1-0 first leg advantage after winning in Cotonou, Benin on Monday afternoon.
They will be the odds-on-favourites to advance to the next stage of the competition following their triumph in the first leg encounter played at the General Mathieu Kerekou Stadium in the capital of Benin.
The winner of the Asante Kotoko vs RC Kadiogo clash, will meet the winners of the other two-legged encounter between Gaborone United of Botswana and AS Vita Club of the Democratic Republic of Congo for a place in the group stage of this season’s competition.
Gaborone United will go into the return fixture this weekend in Kinshasa, holding a 1-0 lead from the first leg encounter they played at home.Â
Asante Kotoko’s game with RC Kadiogo on Sunday, will kick-off at 3:00pm local time with a huge number of their fans expected to turn up at the Baba Yara Stadium to cheer them on to qualification.
