Hearty Congratulations To You: John Dramani Mahama Pens Down Congratulatory Message To New Leaders

Rev. Dr. Stephen Yannusom Wengam, the lead pastor of Cedar Mountains Chapel A/G has been lauded by former president John Dramani Mahama for his election as the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana after securing a 60% of the total votes cast. 

The former President John Dramani Mahama wrote this on his official Facebook wall: “Hearty congratulations to you, Reverend Dr. Stephen Wengam, on your new role as General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church Ghana”. 

He also congratulated the new leadership respectively saying “Congratulations also to the leadership of the Church and the now former General Superintendent, Reverend Professor Paul Frimpong Manso, for the successful elections and transition to a new administration”.

The election was held during a recent A/G Ghana General Council 30th biennial council meeting within the week with the main election on Thursday, August 4. 

He has been inducted into office as the general superintendent today and received by the whole church as the fully recognized leader of the known thriving Assemblies of God Church Ghana.
