The multiple award winning investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awine has shared an emotional story about his journalism journey how everything started.
Startling as it might seem for the young future journalist, Manasseh Azure Awine. It was never easy for the anxious young-man in his quest to become great as the entire family rest on his shoulders.
Over the years, the investigative journalist (Manasseh Azure) has chocked many successes in his line of work after school.
Manasseh, as he recounted had left school a year ago and had decided to visit home after he emerged as journalist of the year, a much envious award for every young journalist.
He said, “A year after leaving journalism school, and in my twenties, I returned home with a crown–Ghana’s Journalist of the Year.” Mr. Azure expressed.
Expressing facts with gratitude, He maintained, “And how do I judge whether there has been any progress? The stories that won me the Journalist of the Year may not feature in my best 20 or 30 journalistic stories since then”.
Thereafter, success has been a part of the young man’s life till date.
Manasseh has been a blessing to Ghana on numerous corrupt scandals he has brought to light.
With the future uncertain to the young man, he took the chance amidst the dangerous nature of journalism in Ghana.
Expressing thanks to the family who has been so much helpful to the journalist, Mr. Awine said, “ I thank God and my wonderful family, as well as my friends and well-wishers who have supported me in this torturous journey with their advice, praise and constructive criticism”. Retorted.
This revelation has a lot of insight to the young men out there.
Nothing is impossible if one sets their mind to it. Difficult the initial stages might seem. But with determination, focus and zeal, a goal set would be reached.
