The former Municipal Chief Executive of Ejisu, Afriyie Yamoah Ponko has dropped some revelations that may seem surprising to many.
Speaking on Okay FM this morning, the former MCE made an allegation that Aisha Huang was never deported from the country. He added that Aisha Huang was part of the entourage who helped the Vice president to get grant from China some time ago.
According to him, Aisha Huang has always been with the Ghanaian people and most of the leaders are even aware of it. He believes that the case which is pending in court will surely go in favour of Aisha Huang. He is confident that Aisha Huang will not be prosecuted. He added that she will be treated the same way she was treated in 2019 when she was alleged to have been deported from Ghana.
“First of all, let me make it clear for Ghanaians to hear that Aisha Huang was never deported. That is what I know. She was taken out of the country but she was not sent to China as reported. She stayed at the Borders and came back into the country.”
“When Bawumia went to China to take some monies, Aisha Huang was part of the entourage. Aisha Huang was one of the financiers or organizers. The stories behind this lady are too big. The case will not end anywhere” he said.

In July, 2017, the Vice president and his team went to China to receive some amounts of money for the development of the country. This amount of money was however given to the country for free(grant). Yamoah Ponko has alleged that Aisha Huang had an influence in such grant which was given to the country because she was part of the entourage.
