Akuffo-Addo Giving Mahama Reasons To Start Appointing His Ministers Ahead Of 2025

Tweets with replies by Manasseh Azure Awuni (@Manasseh_Azure) / Twitter

Investigative Journalist Manasseh  Azure Awuni says President Akuffo-Addo is giving former President Mahama more reasons to be hopeful of an electoral victory in the forthcoming elections in 2024, each passing day with his administration’s actions and inaction.

Mr Azure’s comments come in the wake of reportage that Chinese illegal mining kingpin, Aisha Huang, has been re-arrested in Ghana and arraigned before court.

Aisha Huang, who was deported out of Ghana in 2018, has sneaked back into the country via the Togo Borders.

But she was arrested again and put into police custody by an Accra Circuit Court, presided by Bright Samuel Acguah, for engaging in the sale and purchase of minerals without license and mining without a license.

Reacting to this and the general happenings in the country, the ace investigative Journalist says President Akuffo-Addo is making things much easier for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to return to power in 2025.

In a tweet, he says “each day, Akufo-Addo gives John Mahama reasons to start appointing his ministers now before January 7, 2025”.

Even though the NDC are yet to elect their Flagbearer for the impending presidential election in 2024, Mr John Dramani Mahama, the party’s candidate for the last two elections, is expected to lead them again for the third time.
