Goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim Leads List Of Local Players Dropped By Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim leads a pool of local players that were snubbed by Otto Addo as he announced the squad for international friendliness this month.

Danlad Ibrahim, Dennis Korsah and Gladson Awako are local players that were tipped to earn a call up into the Senior National team, but only Daniel Afriyie Barnieh was named as part of the team.

Danlad Ibrahim has been the first choice goalkeeper for Asante Kotoko and Black Galaxies. He was in goal post when Asante Kotoko clinched the domestic league and continued his incredible journey at Black Galaxies as first choice goalkeeper.

He was in goal post when Ghana defeated Benin both home and away. He had another opportunity to keep the goal post when Ghana played Nigeria in Cape Coast and Abuja, keeping a clean sheet in Ghana and conceded two goals in Nigeria. He however made a mark as Ghana won on penalties.

Otto Addo, in his call up, invited goalkeepers Joseph Wollacott, Richard Ofori and Manaf Nurudeen.
