Ghana Black Stars coach, Otto Addo has called new faces into the Black Stars camp ahead of their friendly match against Brazil and Nicaragua at the end of September.
The two friendlies are part of series of training matches geared towards shaping up the team for the World Cup in Qatar in November and December.
Ahead of the matches, Coach Otto Addo has called up Athletic Bilbao striker Inaki Williams as well as Tariq Lamptey, Stephan Ambrosius and Ransford Yeboah after the 4 players switched nationalities to play for the Black Stars in March this year.
Other notable mentions in the squad is Thomas Partey and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh. Thomas Partey has missed Arsenal’s last two games due to injury but is expected to be fit this weekend. Afriyie Barnieh’s inclusion means he is the only local player to be in the team. The Hearts of Oak player continued his impressive performance in national colours as he helped the Black Galaxies secure their first qualification for the CHAN tournament after years of missing out.
The Black Stars will face Brazil on the 23rd of September and Nicaragua on the 27th of September.
