Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelloti has dropped a hint that Real Madrid could be on the way to retain their Champion League title this season.
The Coach who has unparalleled success in the Champions League, winning 4 trophies with 2 different clubs was of the belief that the Spanish club could do another historic feat of winning the champions league this season.
In a press conference ahead of the start of their European campaign, the coach highlighted the fact that the Spanish club have earned respect in the Competition. He said “Real Madrid have always been respected in this competition, It’s not just about last year, it’s about our history. You never know what will happen.”
Although Real Madrid chopped success last season, bookmakers and betting companies have rated them below their rivals, PSG, Bayern Munich and Manchester City as favourites to win the league this season.
The coach in response to this rating said “It doesn’t surprise me, I see it as a good sign. Last year, we had even fewer possibilities in the statistics. This year we’ve improved a bit!”.
