Prosecute And Jail Her Immediately: Fresh Trouble For Untouchable Aisha Huang

Historically, Aisha Huang was arrested by the police for causing havoc and disaster to the Ghanaian Environmental Landscape through a rigorous illegal mining operation across the length and breadth of Ghana, some years ago, but managed to get back to work. Due to her extensive experience and smartness in the field, she is being regarded as the “Untouchable Queen” of Galamsey. Although the information in the media space is currently sketchy, it is still a good news for the entire country. And we must commend the National Security Agency for taken this bold step to ensure het arrest.

Interestingly, there is still a disturbing ongoing illegal mining activity in secret areas of the mining hubs in this country, amidst the punitive and strategic initiatives rolled out by the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources to end this menace completely.

Meanwhile, there has been argument against Chinese Nationals in their entrenched quest to practically destroy our lands and water bodies, while making a great deal of effort to protect theirs (in their country). This hypocritical attitude should not be entertained by our security agencies in any way because it only suggests that they are using us to build their nation. Consequentially, they are chancing on the beautiful relationship (partnership) we have had with them over years to play a trick on us, just to fulfill their national promises and interest, at the expense of our own national development.

Ghana Police Service has gotten hold of Aisha, then she must be prosecuted and jailed immediately to deter other accomplices from engaging in such acts. The Offices of the Attorney General and the Special Prosecutor mut work hand-in-hand to make sure that she faces the law squarely. The Economic and Organised Crime Commission (EOCO) must also work resiliently with the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, together with the National Security Agency to beaf up the arrest and prosecution of all foreign Nationals and local citizens who are behind Galamsey activities in Ghana.
