Francis Okesu, the MCE (Municipal Chief Executive) of Krachi East. He’s a middle-aged man. Until his appointment as MCE by Akuffo Addo, he was the Constituency Secretary for NPP.
How did he die?
Police found him dead in a hotel room in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti region. Police is yet to establish exactly what killed him. But there are some potential clues:
1. His body was found naked.
2. There were traces of sperms on his thigh.
3. There was no trace of violence or physical harm in the body.
Why was he in Kumasi?
Presently, it has not been confirmed either from the NPP as party or from the government as to whether he was on official duty. But it is known that he checked in the hotel with his driver.
What now?
Police are still conducting their investigations. The news of the MCE’s death only surfaced this morning. Speculations are getting wilder but the police report will most likely be the defining narrative.
