A Maison by the name of Mahama Dauda opened up on how he escaped a mob attack after he went to work at Abuakwa. The man shares that he got a maison work at Abuakwa but where he was staying was very far from his workplace. So he pleaded with the workers staying at that place to allow him to stay in their house till he finished doing the work.
Dauda said he was given a chance to stay with them but those workers left him alone in the house went to another town to do a different work. The next morning he met a lady who started accusing him of stealing pipelines in the house. Dauda added that he called one of the workers who confirmed to the lady that he is not a thief.
Still she threatened to harm him if she sees him stealing anything from the neighborhood. The man said that lady came to the house the following day, packed his belongings and threw them out of the room. She then took the keys and started calling the other neighbors he is a thief.
The man stated that those people in the neighborhood rushed to scene with sticks and cutlass and made an attempt to beat him with those items. Dauda revealed that he ran into a nearby bush for safety, he walked through the bush for half an hour before he got to the road side and took a car to his house.
Dauda says that he has not been able to go back to his workplace due what happened, he is also afraid that he may meet the lady again and she will do the same thing to him again. The man said he wants help to prevent that lady from calling him a theif so that he can go back to work.
According to one of the neighbors in Abuakwa, the man used to buy food from his workplace but that lady started accusing him of stealing without any evidence, he heard the lady shouting a thief so he too took a stick together with the others ready to beats him but when he got to scene, he found out that it is Dauda. Fortunately he was able to run away from the mob attack and since that day they have not seen him.
