Breaking: Black Stars Defender Joins Spanish Club

Ghana defender Abdul Mumin Sulemana has signed for Spanish club Rayo Vellacano for the ongoing La Liga season.

The 24-year-old intelligent center back signed a four-year deal to join the La Liga side from Portuguese club, Vitoria Guimaraes after a sterling performance in the Portuguese Super League.

Abdul Mumin moved to Guimaraes in 2020 from Danish topflight side FC Nordsjaelland where he churned out great performances.

In other stranafer news involving Ghanaian players, Black Stars left back, Baba Abdul Rahman has returned to English Championship club, Reading fc for the ongoing Championship season.

The former Kotoko player joins Reading on loan from English Premier League club, Chelsea where he has struggled to command a regular shirt but is relishing to go after his return to the second tier side.

Baba Rahman has struggled to command a regular place in Chelsea since joining them from German club, Augsburg in 2014.

He has had loan spells in several countries since joining Chelsea. He has played twice on loan with German club, Schalke 04.

He has had loan spells at Spanish club, Mallorca as well as French club, Reims and Greece SuperLeague side, PAOK.
