The president of the republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwo Akuffo-Addo has today commissioned APPED Cylinder Manufacturing Company In the Awutu Senya District of the Central Region.
The president after addressing the dignitaries and all Ghanaians stated that, the APPED Cylinder Manufacturing Company is an initiative of the ID1D projects.
He explained that, the APPED Cylinder Manufacturing is a further congree manifestation of the new paraderm of economic development.
He therefore continued that, he came into office 2017 with a clear appreciation of the fact that unless we industrialized with a goal of adding value to the nation’s primary products, we can not create the necessary numbers of high paying jobs that will address the great unemployment as well as to enhance the living standard of the mass of our people of people. And that’s why government took steps to rollout the One District one Factory projects.

He disclosed that, about 125 factories operating under this initiative (one district one factory) have so far employed 160,833 people. When all projects under 1D1F come on stream, said he’s expecting ‘some’ 295,729 more Ghanaians to be employed. This policy has the intention of absorbing more young persons into well-paid sustainable jobs. He added.
“What we are seeing here today is a true reflection of the benefits of the 1D1F policy and I am expecting some 295,729 more Ghanaians to employed when all projects under 1D1F come on stream”
He therefore commended the promoter, Mr. Ebenezer Appiah, Management and Staff of APPED Cylinder Manufacturing Companies for capable of competing with the global market.
