Paul Adom Otchere says he is not against the opinion from Mahama on the ex-gratia payment. The ex-gratia is paid to merit the receivers and not a salary. This means the beneficiaries receive this solely on merit from government. According to Paul Adom Otchere, it is not wrong to wish for the cancellation of the ex-gratia.
Since each and everyone who merits from the ex-gratia is a citizen and wants to commit him or herself to the development of this country, we can say it is okay to want to donate the monies even given to the beneficiaries back into government coffers.
What Paul Adom Otchere does not understand is why the Ndc or Mahama would want the ex-gratia to be cancelled in 2022. Why do they want it to be cancelled so bad when they are not in power?
It is a good idea to cancel the ex-gratia but why does Mahama want it to be done in 2022?- He questioned Mahama and the Ndc who have become obsessed with the issues surrounding the ex-gratia and wants to use it as propaganda in their upcoming campaigns according to Paul.
