Former Black Stars Midfielder Cries Over Bad Ghana Pitches

Former Black Stars midfielder, Agyemang Badu is anticipating a tough Ghana Premier League next term due to the poor nature of the pitches.

The five time Africa Cup of Nations participant has signed a season’s deal with Great Olympics after leaving Chinese Super League side, Quindao fc.

The 30-year-old won the 2022 GHALCA Top Six with the two time Ghana Premier League champions and he has complained about the poor nature of the pitches.

“Let me tell you the league will be very tough.

“For the three games I have played , even this is Accra Sports Stadium.

“So you can imagine if you go to some of the venues how the situation will be.

“The pitches are very horrible in certain aspects but this is what we have so we will be ready for the league.

“All of the pitches in Ghana, even the one they’ve renovated in Kumasi, not long ago, go and see it now.

“So the supporters should come to the stadium and just cheers us and we will get a respectable results for them.” Agyemang Badu told Radio Gold Talk Sport.

Badu previously played for Ghana based sides, Berekum Arsenal and current league champions, Asante Kotoko.
