The NPP Loyal Ladies in the Greater Accra Region held a sports festival on August 27, 2022, at the Abofu AstroTurf close to the Achimota overhead.
The ladies participated in a variety of events, including football, tug of war, dancing competitions, track events, races, and much more.
The event was a period of intense networking, socializing, and bonding for members of the group.
The teams that participated in the various games were Team Samira, Rebecca, Pomaa, Sika, Frema, and Martha. The competition was fiercely contested, with some teams taking first place in specific events. However, when the final scores were tallied, Team Samira came out on top.
All of the participating teams received trophies and gifts!
The event witnessed important dignitaries in attendance including Mr. Richard Boadu of GetFund, Dr. Fred Asamoah, CEO of Cotvet, Mr. Alfred Thompson, Mr. Salam Mustapha, National Youth Organiser, Mr. Moses Abor, Greater Accra Youth Organiser, various constituency organizers from the Greater Accra Region, Mr. Kwame Prempeh, Deputy CEO of Public Procurement, and Nana Kwesi Awuah.
Members of the Loyal Ladies Greater Accra chapter and all patrons expressed great satisfaction at this event and look forward to future editions to continue to forge ahead on the group’s mandate.
