Former Chief Justice, Sophia Akuffo has reacted to some claims about the judiciary in this country. There have been several claims that the Ghanaian judiciary system is corrupt and needs all the attention and change it can get from government.
The national democratic congress has however sent a general information that creates the genera impression that they are in power and so are incapacitated in correcting the wrongs they are seeing directly.
The use of the media especially to broadcast the concerns of the party to government according to the Ndc is even proven futile.
Is this purported to create a post-election havoc and false news about the credibilty of the judiciary? Many believers of the gospel preached by the Npp think the Ndc are using this to prepare themselves for the victory that lies ahead for the Npp in the coming elections.
The former attorney general has stated that the judicial arm of government is independent and operates independently. This means the claims that the judiciary is corrupt among other allegations are nothing but blatant lies and mere assumptions. Even though her points have been made clear, she might suffer some attacks especially now that the focus of the opposition has been geared to more of these allegations.
