The former aide to the Late President, John Evans Atta Mills, has announced his intentions to return to his previous business of active politics. Considering his recent attacks on the leadership of the National Democratic Congress, one would have thought that he will never consider returning to the National Democratic Congress. However, he has stated boldly that he is returning to active politics in the National Democratic Congress.
After gathering the courage to return into active NDC politics, one would have expected that he will do that in a very remorseful tone such that, the National Democratic Congress executives will have no choice other than accepting him back into the party. Rather than showing a sign of remorse, the outspoken Founder of the Atta Mills Institute, Koku Anyidoho, declared that he is set to take what is rightfully for him or belongs to him. He explained that he needs not pay any ransom or money to anyone who stole the party from him. He added that the current leadership have hijacked the party just like that.
“I am back full swing into active politics in National Democratic Congress politics and we shall not pay any ransom to those who have hijacked our party. We shall take back what legitimately belongs to us. Who born dog?”
This recent move by Koku Anyidoho is most predictable. Who does not know that the 2024 election is drawing near? Who does not know that campaign and election seasons are cocoa seasons for politicians and delegates? Who also does not know that as election draws near, political parties pay some insiders in their competitive parties just for them to create confusions? Thus, Koku Anyidoho’s move can be attributed to any of these. The question is, how does he intend to join the NDC again without the permission of the executives?
