Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah, the leader and founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, has made some startling claims.
Isaac Owusu Bempah blasted President Akufo Addo in front of his congregation this morning for not doing something about his arrest a year ago. He further expressed his dissatisfaction with the president for allowing him to be taken into custody without protest.
Isaac Owusu Bempah claims that he did nothing wrong to warrant his arrest and subsequent incarceration. He also explained that he was put to prison despite not having committed any acts of violence. When he was taken to jail, he said, he thought he was going to die because he still couldn’t believe the reason he was detained.
He continued by saying that the shock he had upon seeing the cells required immediate medical attention. He said that he was still shackled to the hospital bed when he was brought there. He claims he done nothing illegal and is frustrated that President Akufo Addo and Vice President Dr. Bawumia haven’t addressed the issue. He was similarly dismayed that IGP Dampare had ordered his arrest.
“I am dissatisfied with both Akufo Addo and Dampare Akufo. I still don’t like him, despite the fact that he called to wish me a happy birthday. I’m in a lot of pain right now. Because I haven’t committed any murder or homicide, I don’t see why you want to lock me up.”

An argument between Isaac Owusu Bempah and Nana Agradaa, a former fetish priestess and current preacher, led to the former’s detention a year ago. Owusu Bempah was taken into custody because of this incident. There were only a few days that he spent behind bars.
