Felix Kwakye Ofosu Decided To ‘Run’ From The Studio When He Saw Me – NPP Panelist Tells TV Host

It was a clash of ideas as Felix Kwakye Ofosu, a former Deputy Communications Officer joined Ama Pratt, Solomon Owusu, member of the NPP Communications team and A.B Fuseini on Alhaji and Alhaji. The political programme is one of the most watched Saturday morning political shows in the country. One of the first issues discussed was Akufo-Addo’s comment that he cannot be blamed for Ghana going to the IMF.

According to Felix Kwakye Ofosu, this comment shows Addo-Addo is just fulfilling a childhood dream of becoming a president and not because he wanted to transform the country. Felix mentioned that he knew Akufo-Addo won’t do well but now what is happening has even changed his mind as Akufo-Addo and Bawumia have performed worse.

Felix insisted that with what is happening it will be difficult to see Akufo-Addo helping his party break the 8. The host, Sena tried to interject and tell Felix that his time was up but the latter explained that he has another programme to attend and so will like to get more time so he touches on other topics and leaves.

Felix was given the chance to talk and left afterwards. After him, time was given to Solomon Owusu to also talk. Solomon instead of presenting his point noted that Felix knew that he was peddling lies and so had run away knowing that he Solomon was about to expose him. According to Mr. Owusu, he was ready to fire Felix Kwakye but will spare him because Felix himself had run away to prevent his disgrace.

The host injected and mentioned that it was unfair for Mr. Owusu to say that because Felix had sought permission to attend another programme. Mr Owusu however refused to listen saying that he also had other engagement but had to suspend it. He then told the host to next time get panelists who were ready to finish the discussion before leaving. Solomon Owusu boldly stated that the NPP will do anything legally possible to break the 8.
