Ghana Premier League, GPL club, Real Tamale United, (RTU), has officially announced the signing of six players for the upcoming campaign.
The players were signed by the Pride of the North before the transfer window closed on Monday night.
Versatile midfielder Abdul Manaf Umar, joins RTU as a free agent after ending his stay at Accra Hearts of Oak where he was a revelation after graduating from their youth team.
RTU has also signed defender Hafiz Adams on a free transfer after he was released from his contract by Aduana FC.
Joining RTU for an undisclosed fee is Jorge Renchi from Berekum Chelsea with the player set to have signed a long term deal.
Michael Japaa and Sibdow Abdul Gafaru, have been signed from lower tier side Victory Stars on long term deals.
Also coming in as a free agent is Sulemana Abdulai Zuberu from city rivals Tamale City FC as they build for next season.
RTU are continuing with their preparations for the coming campaign and, they will play Tamale Utrecht on Thursday afternoon in a pre-season friendly in Tamale before taking on Steadfast FC and Sankara Nationals on Sunday and next week Saturday respectively, to roundup their preparations for the start of the 2022/23 Ghana football season.
