A 33 years old man named Seidu Issifu narrates what his landlord’s wife did after he moved out of their house and went to rent another room. The man shares that he rented a room in their community and stayed with his wife known as Amina for 6 years. They went to stay in a different house few months ago when their rent was due. Seidu said his wife too fell sick two month later, she was went to the hospital for several times but she didn’t recover.
The man added that his brother came to ask her if she has offended anyone, but his wife said no. Few days later, their landlord’s wife called Ramatu revealed to him that she caused his wife illness because she has offended her, she also said unless his wife apologize to her before she will let her recover from the illness. Ramatu explained to them that she went to a fetish priest to help her get enough money from her business.
The fetish priest gave her a herb to sleep on it and send it back to him. The woman said she saw Amina in a dream she had when she slept on the herb, the fetish then revealed to her that Amina is the cause of the collapse of her business. The fetish priest perform some rituals which made her fall sick. Seidu continued that he informed his wife about this accusations but she too told him that it is not true she made Ramatu’s business to collapsed.
They all went to plead with the landlord’s wife to forgive Amina but still his wife has not recovered from the illness. They again went to Ramatu and asked her when his wife will be set free but she told them to go to her fetish priest for him to treat her. The man concluded that he is not willing to send his wife to that fetish priest but he needs help for his wife to recover from the illness.
