Chelsea have all but agreed a deal with West Ham for the transfer of Left Back, Emerson Palmieri. The defender has been limited with game time at Chelsea after returning from loan at the end of the season and with the arrival of Marc Cucurella.
Emerson’s deal with West Ham is expected to be in the range of 13 million pounds with at least 2 million pounds to be paid based on his performance with the club.
Chelsea are focused on selling frozen players in the club with the transfer window nearing closure. Hakim Ziyech has also been linked with a move to his former club Ajax Amsterdam. The winger is reported to have flown to the Netherlands right after the defeat to Leeds on Saturday.
Emerson has been one of the best professional players at the club even with little game time, the player hasn’t come into the media to rant but has kept a professional attitude. He will be the second player sent to West Ham in 2 seasons after Kurt Zouma was transferred to the rival club last season.
