Most Ghanaians are truly disappointed in Nana Addo Dankwa’s administration following the promises he made when campaigning to become president and what’s happening right now.
He spoke bitterly when the cedi depreciated during the Mahama administration. At a point, the cedi was 3.80 to 1 dollar and that is where the controversies started. After Nana Addo won the 2016 election the dollar was around 4.8 cedis for 1 dollar. Ghanaians were expecting the dollar will drop or they will arrest the dollar as said by his running mate Dr. Bawumia instead it was increasing till now.
Now 1 dollar is equivalent to 10 cedis and because of that, it has affected goods imported into the country and inflation is on the run. Many businesses are collapsing, market women are crying and the citizens are not comfortable at all.
In news today a member of the New Patriotic Party Communication team member Ernest Adade in an interview on Net2 TV revealed that if NPP has failed NDC can never be an option. Because they have spent most of the years in power counting on the late President Jerry John Rawlings, late Prof. Atta Mills, and John Drama Mahama. Yet Ghana did not experience any better change. According to him, Ghanaians should vote against NDC because they have nothing to offer looking the above reason.
