While in the studios of Hitz FM on Thursday, Bishop Abed Kwabena Boakye Asiamah, popularly called Prophet Ajagurajah has revealed why the name of the national team and Ghana’s main airport should be changed.
In his words, Black Stars which is the name of the senior national team of Ghana is one of the reasons why the team is not making giant strides on the green turf for a very long time.
He said there are no black stars in the galaxy. He also said stars in the skies emit white light, never a black one so he cannot fathom the basis of the name.
He then said the Kotoka International Airport, named after the Ghanaian soldier who axed Dr Kwame Nkrumah from power via a coup d’état was cursed by Nkrumah before he died.

Lieutenant-General Emmanuel Kwasi Kotoka Born was a Ghanaian military officer who was a member of the ruling National Liberation Council which came to power in Ghana in a military coup d’état on 24 February 1966.
The controversial Ghanaian prophet voiced his opinion in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.
