One of the six players to have been released by Accra Hearts of Oak at the end of the last season has emotionally penned a letter to fans and the management of the club.
The player, Frederick Ansah Botchway was released and labeled as “surplus to requirement” by the club but however, according to the player, he is yet to receive a release letter from the club.
In a lengthy letter, the player said he could not say anything bad about the club as he loves the club with his heart but the management are causing him a lot of pain. He claimed that he has even resorted to begging for his release letter but the club have been reluctant and keep tossing him around.
He said “Today hasn’t been a good day, as I virtually spent hours at the club begging for my release letter but I was told to go home and wait until the club is ready to invite me for my release.”
Hearts of Oak are currently training ahead of the new season.
