Stephen Siaw, better known by his stage name Ayesem, a Ghanaian hiplife and hip hop performer, recently shared his financial difficulties in the spotlight.
The ex-Shocks Entertainment artist says it’s been tough to handle his own funds since leaving the business.
The ‘Satan’ hitmaker said in an exclusive one-on-one interview on Cape Coast’s Kastle FM that doing it alone is becoming more challenging, particularly financially.
“Yeah, I’m suffering a little. I won’t claim that I’ve taken it easy as an individual doing things on my own because it’s not simple at all,” he said.

Although he admitted that “doing everything on my own is challenging,” he said, “particularly the money elements isn’t that simple for me.”
When asked about his financial situation, he told Kastle Drive’s presenter, “But then financially it’s not easy for me to survive since I departed Shocks Entertainment so it’s pretty challenging but yet the passion keeps me going all the time.”
