Expect The Dollar To Reach 10GH By Next Week- Top NDC Member Tells Ghanaians

The price of American dollar to Ghana Cedi keeps on increasing each day and night. When the price of the dollar increases, the Ghana Cedi loses its value. When such thing happen, the consequences it brings is enormous. Prices of commodities increase and it increases because importers will now have to pay more money to bring their commodities from foreign countries to Ghana.

For sometime, the price of the dollar lingered around 1 dollar to 8gh. Surprisingly, it has changed this week as Bank of Ghana Fx rate has changed this week. The price of a dollar to Ghana Cedi is now 9gh.

A top member of the National Democratic Congress, Yayra Koku has told Ghanaians on his social media account that Ghanaians should expect the the price of a dollar to reach 10GH by next week. His reason is that, the government needs to raise an amount of $750m loan this week before the economy will be stable.His post on social media has come as a shock as Ghanaians have reacted to it.
