The Political Science Lecturer of the University of Ghana, Legon, Professor Ransford Gyampo has said that the problem of Ghana is wicked leadership.
According to him, our nation, Ghana is under developed because of the wickedness of our selfish leaders who have traveled and seen how other countries are being developed but have blatantly refuse to develop Ghana.
On Prof Gyampo’s Facebook page he stated that “The problem in Ghana is wicked leadership. Our political elites have service passports and they‘ve all traveled before. They’ve seen how others have developed their countries.”
Though our leaders know what is good and what must be done for Ghana to also see development, Prof says they have taken advantage of the ignorance.
Since Ghanaians are not aware of the development going on in other countries because we don’t travel as the politicians do, they have done very little or nothing for us when it comes to development.
“But have hidden under the cloak of public ignorance about what pertains elsewhere, to do little or nothing for us.”
However, he thinks that if our leaders ell be a little selfless and not selfish and wicked, they would be able to develop the country and leave a legacy.
“A little bit of selflessness would do for our development and leave a great legacy.”
